Pop star Dannii Minogue has spoken of her heartbreak for the victims of the devastating floods in her native Australia. More than 70 people have been reported missing in Queensland after severe downpours hit the city of Toowoomba on Monday, January 10, claiming eight lives.
Minogue, who is currently living in Melbourne, has been keeping up with the natural disaster on the news - and she took to her Twitter.com blog to send her sympathies to those affected by the tragedy. She writes, "My thoughts are with all the families in QLD (Queensland) dealing with the terrible floods. 8 confirmed dead, many missing & more flooding predicted."
Minogue's partner Kris Smith has also reached out to offer his support, encouraging fans to make donations to the Flood Relief Appeal, writing "Heart goes out to those affected by the floods in Queensland, really is terrible news..."
