AceShowbiz - Irish pop star Brian McFadden has dismissed tabloid rumors he has reconciled with his ex-wife Kerry Katona, following their public war of words last year. The former Westlife singer was said to have patched up his relationship with the reality TV star, who he declared "dead" to him in April after she told the press he barely speaks to their young daughters.

A recent British report suggested McFadden had made up with Katona after the feud, and allegedly offered to move into her home in England to support her as she attempts a career comeback. But he has taken to his Twitter.com page to dismiss the article as "absolute fiction". He writes, "Every FACT in this stupid article is absolute FICTION. unbelievable how someone can sit there and just create a story."

The couple wed in 2002. They divorced in 2006. McFadden is now engaged to marry Aussie pop star Delta Goodrem.
