Foxy Brown has called in her lawyers to deal with a woman she claims has been posing as her manager and releasing "fake" news about her career. The rapper claims her attorneys have sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bernadette Brennan over allegations she distributed a false press release about the star's musical plans.
The statement, reported by Allhiphop.com, is said to have suggested Brown was due to release a new single called "You Aint Ruff Enough" on January 1. But Brown - real name Inga Marchand - claims the information is untrue and insists she is managed by her brothers, Gavin and Anton Marchand.
In a series of posts on Twitter.com she writes, "If yall don't hear it from a Marchand (Inga, Gavin or Anton) its bulls**t!... Just got the call... Allhiphop.com still posting fake a** Fox news!!... I'm repped by the Marchands not Bernadette Brennan... NO single will be sold on itunes Jan 1st."
She later adds, "Update... My attorney officially hit the thief b**tards in the fraudulent song scam with an immediate cease and desist! (They have been) sent notices of our impending lawsuit."
