Gorillaz and Blur star Damon Albarn has warned "Glee" producers not to contact him about using his songs on the TV show - because he can't forgive them for stealing The Beatles' U.S. pop chart record.
Albarn has yet to be asked to be a part of the hit musical show but he insists he'll never agree to let his songs be a part of the programme. The Brit is still upset by the fact the cast of "Glee" toppled the Fab Four's record for most appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 by a non-solo act earlier this year. Albarn says, "Those songs won't last like the Beatles... They'll be forgotten in a few years time."
He isn't the only star keen to keep his tracks away from "Glee" - the Kings of Leon have already refused to let the show use hits like "Use Somebody" and "Sex on Fire".

lol 2 idiot fangirls defending a s**t show. First of all learn to spell. Secondly, Damon didn't want those sellouts butchering his songs because he a MUSICIAN. Something those gleetards will never be, just sucking up to the producer and obeying their orders. The "omg ur jus jelous" statement is flawed and stupid. Get a music education or GTFO.
Dude, he needs to get over himself so fricken bad! They dont steal songs and just because they 'dominated' the charts and 'toppled' him in the top 100 doesnt make them theifs. Hes just jealous
What an a**hole. Glee didn't choose to "steal" the record, it happened beacause people bought their songs. I bet they never expected to break it anyway! You're probably just jealous because they don't even want to do your music...get the stick out of your butt and quit looking desperate for attention!!
