Manny Pacquiao Faces Lawsuit Over Album Deal

RBM Group International which signed the boxer under their label is suing him for not turning up any song since the deal.

Boxer Manny Pacquiao is facing a $10 million lawsuit over allegations he signed a recording contract but failed to deliver any songs. The Filipino sportsman is said to have agreed a deal with bosses at RBM Group International in 2009 to record 12 tracks.

Executives at the music company allege they handed the star a $40,000 payment for the first two songs, but Pacquiao has yet to produce any recordings. RBM bosses filed suit at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday, November 17 claiming the boxer broke his promise and left them $200,000 out of pocket. The papers also allege the company has lost out on profits of $10 million, according to

Pacquiao, who is is the first boxer to ever win eight world titles in eight different weight classes, has not responded to the lawsuit.

    the sad and truth part was... aside from not performing the record deal.. HE ALSO BROKE THE EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT.. HE SANG TO JIMMY KIMMEL SHOWS AND PERFORM CONCERTS WITH LITO CAMO... .. BULLSHIT.. HE DESERVE IT..

    Manny will continue to get into legal trouble because of the morons around one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. But then, there are people who are going to take advantage of that, like in this recording deal lawsuit.

    The biggest issue is that Manny does not have a focused team. He has an attorney Gacal who continues to get him into trouble. Gacal is more worried about what he is going to get out of it instead of protecting his client. Manny should fire Gacal.
