It won't be their only huge British date of 2011 - the rockers have also signed on to play shows at London's Hyde Park and Murrayfield Stadium in Scotland.

Isle Of Wight Festival promoter John Giddings said, "We are proud to bring one of the world's biggest rock bands to the island on our 10th anniversary. It is an incredible way to start the weekend, I can't wait." Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 19.

The band have just released their fifth studio effort "Come Around Sundown" which went number 1 on U.K. Albums chart with 183,000 units sold in its first week.
