Rihanna has kept comeback kings Take That off the top of the U.K. singles chart after her track "Only Girl (In the World)" stayed at number one for a second week. The "Umbrella" hitmaker outsold reformed boyband Take That's new single "The Flood", despite the hotly-anticipated return of Robbie Williams to the line-up after 15 years.

"Firework" by Katy Perry rocketed into the third spot while McFly's "Shine a Light" sits at number four. The top five is rounded out by Alexis Jordan with "Happiness". In the album countdown, Susan Boyle's second album "The Gift" shot straight to the top of the list, leaving Bon Jovi's "Greatest Hits" at two and Cheryl Cole's "Messy Little Raindrops" at number three.

Stateside, Rihanna also ruled singles chart. Drake-assisted single "What's My Name?" takes No. 1 spot on Billboard Hot 100, while its predecessor "Only Girl" could only peak at No. 3.
