Grohl has recruited Krist Novoselic to record new track for the upcoming album of Grohl's current band.
Former Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic have reunited to record a new song for the Foo Fighters next album. Sixteen years after the "Nevermind" rockers split following frontman Kurt Cobain's suicide, the band's drummer and bassist joined forces in Grohl's garage recording studio - and the collaboration was overseen by former Nirvana producer Butch Vig.
Grohl reveals, "We've been in my garage recording totally old school analogue with Butch Vig. For me it was a dream come true. Krist Novoselic came in the other night and played bass on a song!"
This Foo Fighters seventh album will mark the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's "Nevermind", which Butch Vig produced in 1991. Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins have already started work on the new album in March this year.
