Celebrating the release of his new album, the super producer had a collaboration with the band's members at the September 29 concert.

Super producer Mark Ronson brought back the sounds of the Eighties on Wednesday, September 29 when he teamed up with Duran Duran at a concert in London. The DJ took to the stage at the city's Hackney Empire with his band The Business Intl to celebrate the release of his new album "Record Collection".

But Ronson took the members of the audience back in time for a journey through pop music history with the help of Duran Duran stars Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor. The trio performed a medley of their hits, including "Girls On Film" and their debut single "Planet Earth".

And Ronson admitted the live collaboration was a dream come true, telling the crowd, "If you'd have told me years ago that I'd get to play onstage with these legends it would have blown my mind." But Duran Duran wasn't the only Eighties act to hit the stage - Culture Club frontman Boy George also performed at the show, singing his new track "Somebody To Love Me", which was recorded for Ronson's new project.

Other guest vocalists at the gig included The View's Kyle Falconer, former The Pipettes singer Rose Elinor Dougall and rapper Spank Rock.
