The German supermodel is preparing the launch of her own label which will hit the shops next year.
Claudia Schiffer is following in the footsteps of her supermodel pal Kate Moss by launching her own clothing line. The German beauty has signed a deal to create her own fashion collection and she is preparing to launch the project next month.
Schiffer confirmed the news to WWD.com at at the Salvatore Ferragamo show in Milan and revealed the range will hit shops in 2011. Moss launched her own line with British firm TopShop, but the partnership is coming to an end this year.
Beside Schiffer and Moss, there are plenty of other supermodels who branch out to become a fashion mogul. Christy Turlington has a collection of yoga wear, Natalia Vodianova designs lingerie for Etam, Daisy Lowe collaborates with Morgan and Coco Rocha for her own label, Rococo.
