Jessica Simpson is planning to make Christmas 2010 extra special for one U.S. soldier - he'll get to record a festive favorite for the singer's upcoming holiday album. The pop star and actress has already recruited pal Willie Nelson and opera singer Andrea Bocelli for the compilation and she's also recording a very patriotic version of "I'll Be Home For Christmas".
Sources tell America's Life & Style magazine the soldier's identity is being kept a secret, but has served in Afghanistan.
An insider told the mag, "Plus, one lucky U.S. soldier in Afghanistan will get to sing a duet with her. They'll sing 'I'll Be Home for Christmas'." The mag further reported that Simpson has hired The Dream and Tricky Stewart, who produced "Umbrella" and "Single Ladies" for the album.
