'I've been in love before, but I've never felt as fulfilled as this,' said the veteran singer who split with his long-time partner to be with 25-year-old Hannah Andrews.
Paul Weller has spoken out about his love for his young girlfriend Hannah Andrews - insisting he doesn't even notice their 27-year age-gap. The former The Jam frontman hit the headlines two years ago when it emerged he had left his partner of 13 years, Samantha Stock, for a backing singer less than half his age.
Now Weller, 52, has revealed his relationship with 25 year old Andrews makes him feel "fulfilled" - and he's adamant he doesn't care what critics think of the age-gap between them. He tells Britain's Sunday Times Magazine, "I've got a new girl, Hannah - she's lovely. There's an age-gap, but I don't have to justify that - I couldn't give a monkey's (don't care)... It's not like Hannah's a kid; she's 25."
"As far as I'm concerned, she could have been 34 or 44 - I haven't got a thing about young chicks. I like all women. What can I say? I'm in love and that's that. We work, we're in love, and we compliment each other. She just fills a part of me. I've been in love before, but I've never felt as fulfilled as this."
