The actor is to revive his musical career since 'The Producer' in the new version of 'Nice Work if You Can Get It'.

Matthew Broderick is heading back to Broadway again - he's reportedly set to star in a new production of "Nice Work if You Can Get It". The actor took on a lead role in "The Starry Messenger" last year and concluded his run in the production in December, and now he looks set to return to the stage in his first musical since his 2001 turn in "The Producers".

Broderick is in negotiations to join a new version of George Gershwin's famous work, which had previously been due for revival on Broadway in 2009 with Harry Connick, Jr., according to Variety.com. In a magazine interview, Connick, Jr. said that he was out of the project after a personal feud with director Kathleen Marshall.

Now, Marshall is set to direct the renewed project while Scott Landis is producing. Beside Broderick, Tony Awards winner Sutton Foster will also take part in the reading.
