Jamiroquai Is Set to Release First Album in Five Years

The British jazz funk band will out their comeback record called 'Rock Dust Light Star' in November after taking five years hiatus.

British jazz funk band Jamiroquai are reforming to release their first album in five years. The "Space Cowboy" hitmakers parted ways after releasing 2005's "Dynamite" because frontman Jay Kay was too exhausted by their busy schedule to continue.

But after stepping out of the spotlight, Jamiroquai is now set to release a comeback record, "Rock Dust Light Star", in November. Jay Kay tells Britain's The Sun, "I was knackered (tired). The whole thing became a little sterile. But everything has clicked now."

Jamiroquai have also shared about the next LP on their official website. They wrote, "We think at a time when many acts are producing electronic, disco-influenced tracks, with 'Rock Dust Light Star' Jamiroquai has moved on and reverted to a more organic, live sound."
