AceShowbiz - Katie Holmes is convinced her marriage to Tom Cruise helps her career - because she often asks her superstar husband for acting advice. The former "Dawson's Creek" star married the Hollywood actor in 2006 and they have a four-year-old daughter, Suri.
Holmes admits she often mixes her personal life with her professional commitments when she comes home from work and asks her partner for tips on how to act out certain scenes.
She tells New York Magazine, "We do collaborate on everything at home. But I mean, he's Tom Cruise! His body of work is incredible... I definitely come home and say to him, 'So, imagine a scene ... how would you play it?' And he's helpful and sweet and gracious. He's quite an incredible human being."
