Two girls in their teens reported two separate rape cases which happened in the first and second night of the music festival.

Police are investigating two serious sexual assaults at an English music festival over the weekend. On the first night of the Latitude Festival in Suffolk, England on Thursday, July 15, a 19-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped by four men in a secluded wooded area after she asked for directions to the toilets.

A second sexual assault was reported on Friday night when a 17-year-old female claimed she was attacked in her tent. A 19-year-old man has been arrested and is due to be questioned on Sunday.

The 30,000 capacity music event, which is promoted as a family-friendly festival, featured performances from Tom Jones, Florence and the Machine and Vampire Weekend.

The rape is not the only incident at the music festival. Crystal Castles' vocalist Alice Glass punched a concertgoer after he touched her breast. "You touch my tits, I kick you in the fucking head," she told the crowd.
