Jones along with the British actor have joined the cast ensemble of 'X-Men: First Class' in which they will play Sean Cassidy/Banshee and Beast respectively.
Newcomer Caleb Landry Jones has joined British actor Nicholas Hoult among the cast members of the upcoming "X-Men" prequel, "X-Men: First Class". The 20-year-old Texan, who has had bit parts in "No Country for Old Men" and "The Longshots", will play Sean Cassidy/Banshee in the new "X-Men" film.
"A Single Man" star Hoult will play Beast, the role Kelsey Grammer portrayed onscreen in "X-Men: The Last Stand". James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender will lead the cast as Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, respectively. The film chronicles how the former friends became mortal enemies Professor X and Magneto.
"X-Men: First Class" is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on June 3, 2011. The sci-fi film will be directed by Matthew Vaughn, who helms "Stardust" and "Kick-Ass".
