Claiming that he cannot quit one career to pursue the other, the 'Last Airbender' star explains, 'I'm not one of my parts, I'm the sum of my parts.'
"Twilight" star Jackson Rathbone would rather die than choose between pursuing his music or his movie career - because both aspects of his "art" are instrumental to his personality. The actor has risen to fame as a vampire in the hit "Twilight" movie franchise, but likes to spend his time off moonlighting as a member of 100 Monkeys - a band he formed with four of his pals.
100 Monkeys have released a handful of albums to date and recently toured the U.S. But Rathbone admits he could never imagine quitting one career for the other.
He tells WENN.com, "I'd choose death. At the end of the day, I'm an artist, you know, I'm not one of my parts, I'm the sum of my parts. It takes every little thing to make me who I am. I wouldn't be who I was if it wasn't for all the parts of the arts that I love and I pursue and I get to do."
