Ruling the chart for a second consecutive week, the lead single of Perry's upcoming album once again bans Usher's 'OMG' from taking the coveted spot.
Pop star Katy Perry has held on to the top spot in the U.S. singles chart for a second consecutive week, keeping R&B superstar Usher trailing in second place. Perry's "California Gurls" leads the new Billboard Hot 100, while Usher spends another week at two with his hit single "OMG".
B.o.B's "Airplanes" is at three, while Travis McCoy's "Billionaire" and Ke$ha's "Your Love Is My Drug" rounds out the top five in fourth and fifth place, respectively. Canadian hip-hop star Drake has scored his third top 10 hit - "Find Your Love" has jumped up three spots to take number 10.
"California Gurls" is the lead single from Katy Perry's upcoming studio album "Teenage Dream" which is set to hit the shelves on August 24.
