'The vision is to bring together Michael Jackson family members, celebrities, fans, supporters and the community to celebrate and honor his legacy,' it was said.

Michael Jackson's family is to hold an event in Los Angeles later this month to mark the one-year anniversary of the King of Pop's death. The Jackson Family Foundation is presenting 'Forever Michael', at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, to celebrate the life of the Thriller hitmaker, who died on June 25 last year.

A representative for VoicePlate Productions, the company producing the ceremony, says, "The vision is to bring together Michael Jackson family members, celebrities, fans, supporters and the community to celebrate and honor his legacy."

The VIP red carpet event will take place on June 26. Meanwhile, Jackson's brother Randy Jackson has reached an agreement with bosses at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California to allow fans to visit the singer's burial site.
