Isabel Lucas has laughed off reports she is Jake Gyllenhaal's new girlfriend - insisting the pair's relationship is "purely platonic". The "Brokeback Mountain" star was rumored to have moved on from his relationship with Reese Witherspoon by sparking up a romance with the Australian actress, after they were spotted enjoying time together in Montreal, Canada in April.
But the "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" beauty insists there is no truth to the speculation. She tells JustJared.com, "We're just friends! Our relationship is purely platonic."
Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon split last year. The two actors met while filming 2007 thriller "Rendition" and then began dating, but never shared their love life with the press. No third person was involved in their break-up, a source said back then.
