The rapper who was handcuffed for possessing weapons on Thursday, May 20 morning has to post $65,000 in bail if he wants to be freed.
Troubled rap mogul Suge Knight has been released from jail following his arrest on alleged gun charges. The Death Row Records founder's Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) was pulled over by police in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, May 20 after cops were tipped off about a man reportedly pointing a gun at another car.
Officers initiated a "high risk stop", drawing their weapons and ordering Knight and his two female companions out of the vehicle, according to TMZ.com. Reports suggest the rap boss was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon and driving with a suspended license.
The early report said Knight is once again a free man after posting $65,000 bail but police officials said to L.A. Times that he was actually held for that amount of bail.
