Former "Airwolf" star Jan-Michael Vincent was allegedly ejected from a hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana after a night out turned nasty and staff were forced to call police. The actor recently stayed at the city's Columns Hotel with a female companion, but the pair was denied a third night at the venue after they reportedly began misbehaving.

Vincent's unnamed friend is said to have been drunkenly shouting at other patrons, before he allegedly turned on her when she attempted to take a drink from his hand. Hotel managers called cops and asked the pair to leave, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.

A source tells the publication, "It wasn't so much Vincent, who looks like he weighs 80 pounds, but his boozy, wild-eyed woman, who was verbally attacking bar patrons... she tried to pull a shot of whiskey out of his hand."

JMV cannot seem to get it together. A long history of boozing, brawling, car accidents, and drug abuse took a toll on his looks and his body. The likelihood he'd be diagnosed with mental illness today (bipolar disorder) is highly probable. Probably one of the reasons he could never get straight.

Jan was the first guy I realized I had a huge crush on. Being a teenage guy, this was a realization that Jan was a sexual turn on for me, and he made me realize I was gay. He was my physical role model and I did everything possible to look like him and adore him from afar. My life has been good (just turned 60) with 1 partner for 35 years. I'm so sad that Jan's life was such a mess from drugs, alcohol, and a bad temper (always in the news about beating up his wife or being a public nuisance). Such manly beauty and talent wasted. I wish young actors would take note.

It is a disease called chemical dependency; in Jan's case alcoholism. At his age and since he has been in his disease so long, his prognosis is not good. Sad, but true.

I love Jan and had high hopes for him with his acting career. He is a survivor. Why no one he knew ever helped him realize how great his on screen presence was, is beyond me! Yes, he is older now and so what? He still has that twinkle in his eye. I don't think anyone should write him off just yet. Where would any of us be if everyone just wrote any of us off because we get older or run into problems along the way? He will get his act together when he wants to. On his terms. I hope and pray for the best for Jan's future. I thank him for the roles he's played and the one he is dealing with now, as one of us, -humans. Don't take life too seriously, no of us can get out of it alive.

It is sad to hear such news about jan. He reserves such high respect in our hearts for being our childhood's hero of "Airwolf". I hope he finds sobriety and appreciation of his life.

Having grown up watching Danger Island and in later years Airwolf I was and still am a huge fan of Jan Michael Vincent. Reruns of Airwolf have been playing here in Australia and it got me wondering what ever happened to him. So when I googled him, I was saddend to hear his life story had taken such a turn for the worse. I was even more saddened to see that Hollywood and people in general have turned there backs on someome who has been known around the traps for so many years. People are very quick to judge and tend to look at the bad things in life rather than remembering the good things. Mr. Vincent, I sincerely wish you happiness, peace and good health in your later years and i thank you for bringing joy into my life even if it was for only an hour a week watching you on TV.

I just wanted to do a search to see what happened to Jan. My husband and I watch Airwolf every day and I thought I had heard that Jan had died. I was relieved to see he was still alive, but so sad to see the road he took. My heart goes out to him. Life has a way of kicking you and then over and over when you're down. It looks like life gave him a pretty bad punch and I hope to God, somehow, he can beat it. It doesn't matter if he doesn't look like Stringfellow anymore. If he can get clean and healthy and somehow find happiness, that's all that matters. I do pray for you, Michael. I will pray that the last chapter in your life will be a happy and peaceful one. Peace!

Alcoholism kills. I know because I am an alcoholic trying hard to recover from a lifetime of abuse. I've seen it kill people I love and people I would have loved.

my late husband died from drinking in 2006 and I am so depressed and havent even so much been on a date.Everyone told me to leave him but I never did .He was not mean to me.Has Jan ever been in the hospital for bleeding internally? well mine was 14 times never knowing if he was going to make it out you dont know how sad it is watching someone you love very much drink themselves to death and the last visit to the hospital and never coming home again.I was so shocked seeing how Jan looks now.He was a very handsome man and I will always think of him how he looked on airwolf and if I ever meet the man I would still care about him.He has to start caring about himself and the ones who love him before theres another loss.

Jan is a drunk. He is not a mellow fellow when drunk and anyone who hung around him knows that. His drinking and drug use caused Hollywood to turn their back on him because he could not handle it like they could. He underestimated Hollywood and how little use Hollywood and the world have for you when you are not handsome, rich and famous. Jan learned the hard way. But it wasn't Hollywood that turned him that way, he was like that long before, when he was a teenager. He was out of control then and never grew up completely..mostly he never liked himself. Sad story. I wished he had learned to like who he was so he wouldn't feel the need to be high all the time around people. He just didn't know when to stop and thought everyone in Hollywood was his friend..until he was no longer a star. Jan is no saint, he is human. I don't know if his daughter is still involved in his life anylonger.

Jan is a quiet mellow guy. when he has a drink he is down to earth and just one of the boys. Like me. We always had fun at Trancus beach nightclub. it was just down the street from where we use to live. Jan ia a buddy of mine and always will be no matter where he is at. I never liked Joanne his wife and not to many others did either. Jan just has a way of picking dominant women. I am the opposite of Jan. I like the real feminine types. Jan must have another dominant woman now from the sounds of it. Jan is a reserved earthy guy. I personally don't really think he was cut out to work with the scum who run hollywood. I hate the hollywood scum and their deviant ways.

Sounds like he was an innocent bystander and his girlfriend caused all the trouble. If someone forceably took something away from me, I'll be upset too. He did nothing wrong.

Jan is a friend of mine and he was always very mellow and soft spoken in malibu when I last seen him. He was a drinking buddy of mine when I use to drink 20 years ago. I have many hollywood name friends. Hollywood has a way of making people crazy and down and out from all the pressure. It happens to the best of us when the people who run Hollywood put so much pressure on you you have nowhere to turn but to booze. I believe Jan's problems started with his divorce from Joanne. The only thing I seen with jan that he was doing wrong was picking the wrong women. Period.

Well, at least it wasn't so much Jan this time as the article states. Negative publicity just seems to follow him we never hear about him when things are going alright.
