Lindsay Lohan Denies Feud With Avril Lavigne

Branding the story 'not true', Lohan shot down the rumor she was called a 'loser' by Lavigne during a night out.

Lindsay Lohan has denied reports linking her to an argument with Avril Lavigne during a recent night out in Los Angeles. Reports suggested Lohan approached the "Sk8ter Boi" hitmaker and her entourage at celebrity hangout the Chateau Marmont hotel last week, and, after receiving a less-than-warm welcome, a fight broke out.

Lavigne allegedly branded the "Mean Girls" star a "loser" and ordered her to "stay away from me and my friends". Lohan then demanded the Lavigne be removed from the premises, and, when they refused, she stormed out of the hotel.

The actress has vehemently denied the claims, telling UsMagazine.com, "That is not true." A source additionally told E! Online, "Avril never called Lindsay a loser. Lindsay had offended Avril a week before and Avril simply told Lindsay that she was upset about what had happened, and that she didn't want to talk to her."
