The 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actor was involved in a fight at a shopping center with an unidentified person.
"Wizards of Waverly Place" star David Henrie was detained by police in Los Angeles on Thursday night, April 15 after allegedly attempting to start a fight at a shopping center. The 20 year old, who stars in the Disney show alongside Selena Gomez, was enjoying a night out at Universal CityWalk with his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo, when the pair became embroiled in a dispute with an unnamed person.
Cops intervened and the actor and his sibling were both taken into custody and cited for a misdemeanor offense of challenging a person to a fight. The pair was handed over to their father on Friday morning, April 16, according to TMZ.com.
The detention report aside, David Henrie has also landed role in feature film in addition to playing in a number of TV series. He has been tapped to tackle a character named Tommy Zhou in 2012 movie "The Weapon".
