Michael Jackson's Doctor Can Keep Medical License Until June Trial

Los Angeles judge Michael Pastor cancels doctor Conrad Murray's medical authority suspension and declines to revoke his license until after court hearing on June 14.

A judge in Los Angeles has postponed a ruling on whether Michael Jackson's doctor Conrad Murray can continue practicing medicine while he awaits trial over the superstar's death. The physician, who is accused of administering the powerful anesthetic Propofol that killed Jackson in June 2009, was in court on Monday, April 5 for a pre-trial hearing and his lawyers argued against a request from California's attorney general to suspend the cardiologist's medical license.

Murray's legal team told the judge that the medic's financial problems over the last few months have left him "hanging on by a thread" and claimed he won't be able to pay for his defense if his license is suspended. Judge Michael Pastor declined to revoke the doctor's license until after another court hearing on June 14, but Murray will still have to adhere to a condition of his bail which bans him from administering anesthetic to patients.

The doctor, who has clinics in Las Vegas and Houston, Texas, as well as California, has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of the King of Pop.

Michael Jackson is one of the most gentle, loving, sensitive human beings on this planet,if we were all just a little more like him ,the world would be a better place.

I know this has nothing to do with mj's dr etc but in Michaels defence I'd like to say this---it seems in this world ,if you turn down a date ,your'e a lesbian ,if you love kids you are a pervert and if you love trees your'e a tree hugging hippy and if you are a vegetarian you must be always ill and skinny and weak---when are people going to grow up and stop being sheep.

Anyone who still thinks Michael is actually dead(apparently there are quite a lot),I suggest they do some research and see the evidence for themselves.

It's totally mad to think Michael is dead, there is nothing normal about his death, his autopsy, the trial, his dr.,his funeral---need I go on ?. Those who say it's conspirorists theory---if everything fits and there are no wierd events surrounding the main event ,then ther is no need to think it odd but when nothing adds up or makes any sense, then people question it--it's then labelled a conspiracey .

Oh come on ,was Harold Shipman allowed to carry on practicing medicine,at the very least Mj's doctor would be suspended. What further evidence do they need in order for the trial to take place? . Michael has left clue after clue as to why he has faked his death and the fact he has,the latest being (him singing along with Janet in her song 'nothing'), how much more evidence do we need ?.
