During his appearance on 'Lopez Tonight!', the KISS' rocker asks his fans to get their girlfriends and wives tested for breast cancer, saying 'If you catch it early she will live.'
Rocker Gene Simmons is urging fans to persuade their girlfriends and wives to get tested for breast cancer after his partner of 26 years found a lump. The KISS' star and girlfriend Shannon Tweed agreed to air segments from the health crisis on the fifth season of their reality TV show "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" - and the rocker insists he's deadly serious about getting the message of screening out there.
Appearing on late-night TV show "Lopez Tonight!" on Monday, March 22, the bassist and singer, said, "I'm going to count to eight... One in every eight women will get breast cancer."
"I urge you, the guys out there, to make sure your girlfriend goes to see a doctor today. If you catch it early she will live."
