Eva Longoria is breathing a sigh of relief after doctors told her husband, basketball star Tony Parker, he won't need surgery on his broken right hand. The "Desperate Housewives" actress feared her husband would be ruled out of the National Basketball Association's 2010 playoffs after he fractured his hand during a game on Saturday, March 6.
Doctors have told the athlete he'll have to rest the injury for six weeks, meaning he could be able to play in the tournament - and the actress is delighted. In a post on her Facebook.com page, Parker tells her fans, "Great news on my husband's hand, he DOESN'T need surgery!!! thanks for all of your messages!"
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker exchanged their wedding vows in July 2007. One day after walking down the aisle, they flew to Paris to hold a lavish church wedding.
