Marie Osmond is set to perform with brother Donny Osmond in Las Vegas on March 9, the day after her son Michael Blosil will be laid to rest.
Grieving singer Marie Osmond is preparing to return to the spotlight in Las Vegas - just one day after she lays her tragic son to rest. Osmond was left devastated when her 18-year-old adopted son Michael Blosil was found dead outside his Los Angeles apartment building in an apparent suicide in February.
She and her brother Donny Osmond subsequently called off a string of concert dates as part of their Donny & Marie in Las Vegas - residency to be with family after the tragedy. Now bosses at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas have confirmed the sibling duo will return to the stage on Tuesday, March 9, resuming their normal performance schedule.
Guests who had tickets to the canceled shows have also been invited to upcoming gigs. Tuesday's show will come just one day after Blosil's grieving friends and family are set to gather in his home state of Utah to pay their last respects.
Police believe the depressed teen jumped off a roof or balcony of the building and are treating his death as suicide. An autopsy on his body was completed on Monday, March 1 but the cause of death has been deferred pending toxicology reports.
