However, people don't buy her words as one naysayer is convinced that 'who she was with Trick [Daddy] is who she really is. Tripling down on b.s. with that venomous tone.'

AceShowbiz - Trina seemingly is backtracking on her controversial comments in which she referred to the Black Lives Matter protesters as "animals" for looting. Following the backlash, the "Love & Hip Hop: Miami" star explained herself in the Thursday, June 4 episode of Trick Daddy and her 99 Jamz Radio.

"Me, in my Trina's world, I'm automatically speaking for black people," Trina clarified. "I am black people, that's who I'm speaking for, so I'm not gonna say 'black people are animals.' I'm not talking to the protesters or those that are trying to make change."

She added, "And this is why, the day after when we spoke to the commissioner, I said to Trick, 'Well, I learned a lot more about what's really happening,' because I'm trying to get what's the solution, what is the answer to everything that is happening."

Of why she called the protesters "animals," the raptress said, "I would never say that, or call black people animals or any names. I am a black person, I must be an animal, I must be this same person. I mean, that's not who I am."

However, people didn't buy her words. "Trina knew what she said. Brees knew what he said. They meant every word. How can they understand something in less than 24 hours that they couldn't grasp in 20+ years of being adults?" a Twitter user wrote, referring to NFL star Drew Brees.

"Trina and that apology. Who she was with Trick is who she really is. Tripling down on b.s. with that venomous tone. Calling people animals. She can keep it. I'd prefer if she just stood up in what she said instead of pretending like she ain't still saying it behind the scenes," one other commented.

Trina angered people after she blasted the protesters, calling those who were on the street to fight against racism "animals" in a recent episode of her radio show. "They need to make the curfew at 6 P.M.," Trina ranted. "Keep everybody off the street, these animals off the streets, that are running around in Miami-Dade County acting like they have escaped from a zoo. Lock them up at 5 P.M. so the streets can be nice and clean, that's how I feel."

Her controversial comments later led her to feuding with Masika Kalysha as they exchanged insults on Twitter. Tagging Masika, Trina wrote, "I will address the people. But u dumb a** b***h I don't owe u s**t. U can eat a duck diet bag. Tf is wrong with u. and by the way dumb h*e if u was fully listening to my music u wouldn'ty have grown to be a dumb h*e."

Not backing down, Masika responded, "Let me book this flight so I can fight yo dumb a**....WAIT TRINA YOU'RE ACTING LIKE AN ANIMAL!! don't you dare quote Rihanna, an actual activist who PULLS UP!! Girl the word clout wasn't even invented when u were relevant take yo afternoon nap."
