The 'Glee' actress weighs in on Samantha Ware's scathing allegations against the Rachel Berry depicter hours after their former co-star issued an apology for the pain she has caused.

AceShowbiz - Heather Morris reminds others against making assumption. Shortly after Lea Michele came forward with an apology in response to former co-star Samantha Ware's allegations about her rude behaviors on set, the Brittany S. Pierce of "Glee" acknowledged the Rachel Berry depicter needed to be called out, but was reluctant to label her as racist.

"Let me be very clear, Hate is a disease in America that we are trying to cure, so I would never wish for hate to be spread to anyone else," the 33-year-old actress tweeted her statement on Wednesday, June 3. "With that said, was she unpleasant to work with? Very much so; for Lea to treat others with the disrespect that she did for as long as she did, I believe she SHOULD be called out."

Though speaking out against Michele, Morris pointed out that they too played a part in letting she get away with it for a long time. "It's also on us because to allow it to go on for so long without speaking out is something else we're learning along with the rest of society," the "Dancing with the Stars" alum stated.

Morris went on to note that many are only assuming Michele is racist based on the claims made against her. "But, at the current moment it's implied that she is a racist and although I cannot comment on her beliefs, I think we're assuming, and you know what happens when we all assume…," she said at the end of her post.

Heather Morris' Tweet

Heather Morris weighed in on bullying scandal against Lea Michele.

Morris' post came days after Ware sparked a wave of criticism against Michelle. On Monday, Ware reacted to Michele's post about Black Lives Matter by tweeting, "LMAO Remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I'll never forget. I believe you told everyone that if you had the opportunity you would 's**t in my wig!' amongst other traumatic microaggressions that made me question a career in Hollywood…"

Numerous "Glee" actors have since backed up Ware's claims. Dabier Snell and Alex Newell spoke out about their experiences working with Michele, while Amber Riley insinuated that she too had things to say against Michele, and Melissa Benoist liked tweets about the scandal.

On Wednesday morning, Michele released a lengthy apology on Instagram. "While I don't remember ever making this specific statement and I have never judged others by their background or colour of their skin, that's not really the point. What matters is that I clearly acted in ways which hurt other people," she accepted.

"Whether it was my privileged position and perspective that caused me to be perceived as insensitive or inappropriate at times or whether it was just my immaturity and me just being unnecessarily difficult, I apologize for my behaviour and for any pain which I have caused," she continued. "We all can grow and change and I have definitely used these past several months to reflect on my own shortcomings."
