Jewelry designer Imogen has been forced to close down her business due to the lockdown and social distancing measures amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran's mum Imogen has halted her jewellery business amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 60-year-old creates chunky, beaded necklaces and bracelets in various designs, including pieces resembling popular confectionary range Liquorice Allsorts.

After being worn by the "Shape of You" hitmaker for years, they've now become a hit with his famous fans, such as Courteney Cox - however production has ceased due to the global Covid-19 health crisis.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Imogen has had to cease trading until later this year 2020 as she cannot keep on top of the orders amid the UK's current lockdown and social distancing measures.

"Due to COVID-19 our online shop is closed until later in the year. Thank you for your continued support," a note on her website read, according to the publication.

However, the website itself appears to have now been removed entirely.

Imogen has been producing jewellery for the star to sell at his gigs since before he found fame, and saw the business escalate after her son rose to become one of the world's most popular singer-songwriters.
