When confirming that Chase Severino will be a father in October, the 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' star tells fans that she is 'not interested in anything hateful being directed toward anyone.'

AceShowbiz - Whitney Way Thore is back on the single market following an "uncomfortable" discovery. On Thursday, May 21, the star of "My Big Fat Fabulous Life" made use of her social media account to announce her break-up with fiance Chase Severino, revealing that he is currently expecting a child with another woman.
"Hey y'all. This is a really weird and uncomfortable thing to have to 'announce' on social media, but as I get more questions and hear more rumors, I figured it was time," the 36-year-old began addressing her current relationship status in an Instagram post. "Chase and I are no longer engaged."
The TV personality went on to reveal Chase's situation. "After experiencing a lot of ups and downs and still living apart, Chase reconnected with a woman with whom he has had a long history. Chase recently told me this information and the fact that it had resulted in a pregnancy," she detailed. "Chase will be a father in October."
Despite the circumstances, Whitney still hoped that others can be kind in their response. "I'm not interested in anything hateful being directed toward anyone," she stated near the end of her post. "I would ask for privacy for all involved as we move on and focus on the future."
After Whitney came forward with the split announcement, Chase turned to his own Instagram account to share his thought. "I don't even know where/how to start. I am very excited to announce I am expecting a child in the fall," his statement written on his Notes app read. "Please see Whitney's post for details."
"I have nothing but love and respect for Whitney and our time together," he went on to say. "Thank you for always supporting us. As we now go our separate ways, I ask for privacy for Whitney, myself, and the mother of my child who wishes to remain anonymous."
Whitney met Chase through her business partner at NoBS Active, Ryan Andreas. The two got engaged during a trip to Paris. After keeping the news a secret for two months, they made public their engagement in December 2019. "Chase and I got engaged on October 9th in Paris and I'm quite possibly the happiest woman alive," she revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post.
