The member of 1990s boyband 911 is now driving ambulance to help the National Health Service in the south west of England during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

AceShowbiz - British singer Jimmy Constable is helping Britain's National Health Service (NHS) by working as an ambulance driver during the coronavirus pandemic.

The singer, 48, who shot to fame in the 1990s as part of boyband 911, now drives the vehicles in the south west of England, providing much-needed transport for non-emergency patients.

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a selfie of himself in his work uniform in front of an emergency vehicle.

"I hope you are all coping well in this current lockdown. For the past 5 weeks I have been keeping busy by helping out @ruh (Royal United Hospitals Bath) @NHS," he wrote. "I have been working with the staff of @fastambulance driving their non-emergency patient transport ambulance service within the South West of England."

"It has been an amazing experience and feels good to do something so useful at a time like this. #coronavirus."

911 shot to fame in 1996 and scored several U.K. top 10 hits including "Bodyshakin", "Private Number", and "All I Want Is You".
