J.Lo is proud of her 12-year-old Emme for publishing a kiddie book 'Lord Help Me' about sloths in a bid to raise money to help save her favorite animals from extinction.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's daughter Emme is working on a picture book all about the power of prayer to raise cash to help endangered sloths.

The 12 year old is set to unveil "Lord Help Me", which offers young readers a glimpse of how faith can help with everyday tasks, and reveals she first came up with the idea while praying to save her favourite creatures from extinction.

"In school I learned about sloths and how they're facing extinction, so I began to pray for them in my nightly prayers," Emme said in a statement. "I wrote this book to help raise money to save sloths, while also teaching other children how we can pray and ask for help, two things that bring me a lot of comfort."

In the wake of the news, Emme's mum took to Instagram to express her pride. "So proud of my lil coconut Emme, as she shares her own daily prayers in her very first book LORD HELP ME! This book will offer families a way to embrace the peace and power of everyday faith," Lopez wrote alongside an image of Emme with the book.

Lopez shares Emme and twin brother Max with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

"Lord Help Me" will be available on September 29, 2020.
