'Look, she's being slammed for going to a strip club. Now, who are you corn balls?' the 55-year-old TV personality says during 'Hot Topics', the popular segment of her talk show.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams may not be able to pronounce Dua Lipa's name correctly, but she's on her team as the singer is on hot water for allegedly "sexualizing women." In the Wednesday, January 29 episode of "The Wendy Williams Show", the TV host defended the "Don't Stop Now" singer after she's shamed for going to a strip club with other celebrities for Lizzo's Grammys after-party.

"Look, she's being slammed for going to a strip club. Now, who are you corn balls?" Wendy said during "Hot Topics", the popular segment of her talk show. "First of all, it's not a big deal for women to go to women's strip clubs these days… The older and more mature you get in life, the more you realize that there's girls who are doing this for survival by any means necessary."

"These strip clubs, it's not something you aspire to do, but when it comes between you and sleeping under a bridge, you might as well use what you got to get what you need, just saying… They're trying to make a living!" she shared, adding that she wasn't a fan of going to men's strip clubs.

"If you're a woman and you go to a strip club and you see the other girls, we're supposed to be throwing more money than the men because we're supporting the girls," Wendy shared.

The backlash arrived after the "New Rules" hitmaker shared on Instagram Stories a video of her, Lizzo and some others making it rain as strippers dance in front of them during a night out at Crazy Girl Strip Club, which Lizzo bought out for the night following the 62nd annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. While they were seen having blast at the bash on Sunday, January 26, some fans on Twitter apparently didn't take the video well.

"What a good example dua lipa, lizzo, rosalia sexualizing women but well afterwards they say they are feminists," one upset fan wrote on the micro-blogging site. It didn't take long before #DuaLipaIsOverParty to begin trending on the blue bird app.

However, the "New Rules" hitmaker's fanbase quickly jumped into her defense. "y'all tryna cancel her for,,,,going to a strip club ?? why is it completely okay and normal for men to do it but now that a woman (female) does it it's a problem,,,,,y'all and y'all double standards kinda gross," one supportive fan questioned the hashtag.
