'Bad Boys for Life' Secures Top Spot at Box Office for a Second Weekend

Hauling in $34 million, the third installment in the 'Bad Boys' film series keeps Sam Mendes' '1917' off the No. 1 slot in addition to beating out 'Dr. Dolittle' and 'The Gentlemen'.

AceShowbiz - The "Bad Boys" have beaten out Dr. Dolittle and "The Gentlemen" for the top spot at the box office in North America.

Sony's "Bad Boys for Life", starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, has hauled in $34 million (£26 million) to score a second weekend at number one, keeping Sam Mendes' "1917" off the top, while Guy Ritchie's star-studded new movie, "The Gentlemen", has debuted at four.

"Dolittle", starring Robert Downey Jr., lands at three, and "Jumanji: The Next Level" rounds out the new top five.

The "Bad Boys" sequel has now picked up $130 million (£99.4 million) in 10 days in North America.
