After noticing the man, who appears to be about to take his own life, from his car, the rapper jumps out of his vehicle to help officers talk the man off the top of the roof.

AceShowbiz - Meek Mill's newest signee Yung Ro has been deemed a real-life hero. The young artist just saved a man who appeared to be attempting suicide by jumping off the top of a Valero gas station roof in Houston, Texas.

The rapper was in the middle of an Instagram Live session while in a car when he noticed the man on the roof. He quickly pulled over and jumped out of his vehicle to talk the man off the roof. "This man about to jump off the roof, man," he said in the video. "Look at this man. We gotta get out. Pull over. This man on top of the roof. Hold on."

Someone who was holding the camera continued to film as Ro ran toward the chaos, where police officers and firefighters were already gathered around. "Don't play like that, man! You about to be gone!" he yelled at the man on the roof.

After getting permission from the officers, he came closer to scene, but his companion who was holding the camera was not allowed to come with him. A third clip shows Ro inaudibly talking to the man with his hands on his hips like he was angry.

The distraught man was eventually brought to safety with the assistance of a large ramp.

Instagram users have since sung praise for Ro, with some people dubbing him a "good Samaritan" for his sincere attempt to help save the man. "As a new orleanian i'm so proud of his come up. this was really genuine," one fan commented on the incident. Another raved about Ro's act, "Love this! black men helping another black man."

Yung Ro, who was born Roland Sato Lee Page, was signed to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers Records music label in 2019. The Houston rapper vowed to take care of his family first instead of spending his money on fancy cars and jewelry.

"Listen, why would I walk around with $50,000.00 worth of jewelry on my neck, and my momma ain't got no mutherf***in' house, my grandma still on dialysis," he explained. "How am I gonna look to them? He just spent 50 on jewelry, it takes like 30 for my grandma to get off dialysis. Man s**t crazy! No I got to get them right then you gonna see me icing myself up, you gonna see me walking in designer shoes."

True to his words, the 28-year-old artist, who is known for his hit "Donk Dat", has already managed to purchase a home for his mother.
