AceShowbiz - The 2019 Country Music Association Awards has unveiled the full list of winners following its live ceremony at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, November 13. Dominating the winner list with double win each were Luke Combs and Kacey Musgraves.
Besting out other strong contenders that included Keith Urban and Chris Stapleton, Luke was honored with Male Vocalist of the Year Award. He also won Song of the Year for his track "Beautiful Crazy", a piece that he worked on with Wyatt B. Durrette III and Robert Williford. On the other hand, Kacey was named Female Vocalist of the Year while her "Rainbow" music video earned her Music Video of the Year Award.
Another major award that was announced during the event was Entertainer of the Year, which once again belonged to Garth Brooks after he passed it to Keith Urban last year. This additionally marked his seventh time winning the award. "If the gave this award to this show tonight, I'd have to give it to Reba McEntire's performance. Kelsea Ballerini... fantastic performance tonight," he said during his acceptance speech. "Luke Combs … this has got your name on it in the future, hoss."
Other winners at the event that was hosted by Reba, Carrie Underwood and Dolly Parton included Blake Shelton and Lil Nas X. "The Voice" coach's song "God's Country" edged out the likes of Chris Stapleton's "Millionaire" and Dan + Shay's "Speechless" for Single of the Year. Meanwhile, the rapper was honored with Musical Event of the Year for his Billy Ray Cyrus collaboration "Old Town Road (Remix)", that broke Billboard's Hot 100 chart records after ruling it for weeks.
As for the Album of the Year, it went to Maren Morris' "Girls", while Dan + Shay was later invited to the stage to accept the Vocal Duo of the Year trophy. Check out the full winner list below!
