The 'I'll Be' singer will kick off her stint as a podcast presenter in 2020, and a representative for the streaming service expresses belief that fans will love hearing her sharing advice and thoughts.

AceShowbiz - Country music legend Reba McEntire is joining the world of podcasts after landing her own show.

The singer has teamed up with bosses at Spotify to launch an as-yet-untitled lifestyle programme, on which Reba will discuss a variety of topics with special guests and offer advice on how to overcome tough times and find happiness.

However, the 64 year old admits she had never thought of having her own podcast until streaming service officials approached her with the idea.

"To be honest, I didn't know that I did (want a podcast). But I've always been a storyteller - I've made a career out of story songs," she mused to Billboard.com.

"A great podcast, just like a great country song, tells a story. So when Spotify asked if I would be interested in partnering with them to do this, I thought it was a great idea because it gave me a new way to continue being that storyteller."

Reba will kick off her stint as a podcast presenter in 2020, and company executives are sure fans will like what they hear.

"We are so honored that one of country music's most beloved stars, Reba McEntire, has chosen to launch her podcast exclusively on Spotify next year," Spotify Nashville representative Brittany Schaffer shares in a statement.

"We are all longtime fans of Reba's extraordinary music, her career, and her razor sharp insights, and are certain that fans will absolutely love hearing a strong female icon like Reba share her advice and personal thoughts on all!".

Reba joins the likes of Kevin Bacon on the Spotify podcast roster, while fellow country artists Midland recently launched their own series, "Set It Straight with Midland", to tell stories from America's past.
