When asked about the incident that took place in Mykonos, Mohamed Hadid dishes that the thieves broke into his daughter's vacation rental house and took personal things.

AceShowbiz - Gigi Hadid's father has confirmed the model and her sister Bella Hadid were robbed of personal items, cash and jewellery during a recent Greek vacation.

The girls took off to Mykonos for a recent summer break and their holiday rental was ransacked one night while they were out, prompting Gigi to tell her Instagram followers that she has vowed never to return.

And on Friday, August 9, the sisters' father, Mohamed Hadid, gave more details to TMZ, insisting he's just glad his girls are home safe after a "traumatising" experience.

"The house was robbed," he said. "They (thieves) broke into the house and took personal things."

Sources tell the outlet the girls came home one night last week (ends August 2) to find clothing and other items scattered all over the place.

They filed a police report but felt their case wasn't a priority.

The drama prompted the party to cut its vacation short, charter a private plane and head home.

Angry Gigi has since made it clear she's no longer a fan of Mykonos, taking to Instagram and writing: "Don't let insta fool u. Got robbed. Never going back."
