AceShowbiz - Louis Tomlinson is firing back at reports suggesting drug abuse and jealousy led to One Direction's split.
The singer took to Twitter on Wednesday, July 24 to blast a Daily Mirror headline that read "Drugs, meltdowns and 'gay sex' rumours - how 'rivalry and hatred' tore One Direction apart".
Louis, who has been on a three-year plus hiatus from the boy band, wrote: "Biggest load of bulls**t I've seen in a while. Typical unprovoked venom from The Mirror. Couldn't be further from the truth!".
The article was published on the nine-year anniversary of the band's formation on British TV talent show "The X Factor".
Louis also marked the milestone, adding: "So many incredible memories. Days like today are days for reflection, so proud looking back! Thank you for ALWAYS having our backs! Big love to the lads! #9YearsOfOneDirection."
