A Federal Court judge has reportedly thrown away the copyright lawsuit filed by bosses at Xclusive-Lee Inc. over unauthorized use of the model's images on social media.

AceShowbiz - A judge has tossed Gigi Hadid's legal spat with bosses at a top paparazzi agency.

The model was accused of illegally profiting from the work of photographers at Xclusive-Lee Inc last year (2018), but according to The Blast, the suit has been dropped.

A Federal Court judge in Los Angeles has reportedly sided with Hadid's legal team and dismissed the case after the model was accused of featuring images of herself on social media without permission.

Hadid's legal representatives previously described the lawsuit as nothing more than an effort to extract money from her when the catwalk star was threatened with legal action in October (2018) after she shared a paparazzi photo of herself on Instagram.

Bosses at Xclusive-Lee Inc. subsequently sued her in January (2019) for failing to license the image from them or get their permission.

The case is now officially closed.
