Jeddah World Fest comes forward with the three A-lister names just a week after Nicki Minaj pulled out of the event following backlash over the country's human rights abuses.

AceShowbiz - Janet Jackson, Future and 50 Cent have been added to the Jeddah World Fest line-up in Saudi Arabia a week after Nicki Minaj pulled out of the event, citing the country's human rights abuses.

Minaj scrapped her set last week (ends July 12) after officials at The Human Rights Foundation urged her to rethink her performance.

She researched the human rights issues in Saudi Arabia and told fans, "After careful reflection I have decided to no longer move forward with my scheduled concert at Jeddah World Fest."

"While I want nothing more than to bring my show to fans in Saudi Arabia, after better educating myself on the issues, I believe it is important for me to make clear my support for the rights of women, the LGBTQ community and freedom of expression."

The Human Rights Foundation president Thor Halvorssen heaped praise on Minaj for her "inspiring and thoughtful decision to reject the Saudi regime's transparent attempt at using her for a public relations stunt," and turned his attention to Liam Payne, who is still booked to perform.

And now the activists have another three names to worry about after the addition of Jackson, 50 Cent and Future.

They are set to join Payne and DJ Steve Aoki at Jeddah World Fest, which will take place at the King Abdullah Sports Stadium on Thursday, July 18.
