Jimmy Duval and bosses at Stache Records have previously filed paperwork in an effort to demand payment over unpaid royalties of the late rapper's 2015 debut single 'Look at Me'.

AceShowbiz - XXXTENTACION's mother is challenging a producer's $1 million (£787,700) creditor's claim against her rapper son's estate.

James H. Duval, aka Jimmy Duval, and bosses at Stache Records filed paperwork as part of the late hip-hop star's probate case, seeking payment for music they had recorded together prior to his murder in June, 2018.

In documents obtained by The Blast, they argued the funds were related to "royalties, contribution, breach of contract/copyright infringement regarding the production marketing and distribution" of XXXTENTACION's 2015 debut single "Look at Me", which Duval co-wrote and produced.

However, Cleopatra Bernard, who is overseeing her son's affairs, is objecting to the claim, indicating her belief that estate officials don't owe them anything.

She wants the petition dismissed.

A ruling on the matter has yet to be made.
