AceShowbiz - It appears that Jason Hoppy is not among remarkable fathers in Bethenny Frankel's life. "The Real Housewives of New York City" star has taken to her Instagram account to pay tribute to someone who gives positive influence on her and Jason's daughter Bryn, and that person is surprisingly not Jason.

The TV star decided to honor his late love partner Dennis Shields for this year's Father's Day. She shared a photo of Dennis in a glistening lake with her 9-year-old daughter standing next to him.

"Happy Father's Day. In memory of Dennis, a man who was a father of five beautiful children and a beautiful influence in my daughter's life," so she captioned the picture.

Bethenny gained praises for remembering Dennis, who passed away on August 20, 2018 inside his New York Trump Tower apartment in what was suspected as a drug overdose. "That was very cool to post In Memory of Dennis," a fan said in the comment section. Another comment read, "What a beautiful testament to his impact on you and your daughter's lives. No one truly passed away if we remember to pass them on."

In an episode of "Real Housewives of New York City", it was revealed that Dennis popped up the question to the Skinnygirl founder while presenting her with a massive diamond ring. "It's funny because he said to me, 'Did you say yes?' And I said, 'Well, I love you and I can't believe you did this but we have to talk about some conditions and some terms and how things are going to change' -- issues I've had with partnership and consistency," Bethenny remembered about the moment.

"It was all very complicated and it wasn’t what a natural engagement should be. So our engagement was on ice," she continued saying.

Meanwhile, Bethenny and Jason are currently in an ongoing custody battle of Bryn with the Bravo star wanting a primary custody of her child. "I have tried everything to collaborate and work in the best interest of my daughter. What is best for Bryn is to have a rational person who is making good decisions," she testified in a New York court back in March.
