Amid her battle to regain custody of Emani, Tanisha Foster finds herself back in a Los Angeles court for a bench warrant hearing stemming from a probation violation of her 2017 DUI case.

AceShowbiz - The mother of Nipsey Hussle's daughter, Emani, is facing jail time after failing to show up for court-ordered DUI classes.

Tanisha Foster was in court in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 23, for a bench warrant hearing after missing a legal date earlier this month.

According to The Blast, the judge recalled the bench warrant but the court is still moving to revoke Foster's probation for a 2017 DUI, because she hasn't completed the program she was set.

Foster has been ordered to re-enroll in her DUI class, sign up for Mothers Against Drunk Driving courses and attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. A new probation violating hearing has been set for July.

Tanisha is currently battling for custody of her daughter against slain rapper Nipsey's family, who insist she is an unfit mother.

Earlier this week, May 20, the rap star's sister was officially given custody of the 10-year-old.

Emani has been living with her aunt, Samantha Smith, since her father's death in March, according to TMZ.

In her petition for custody, Smith stated she wanted to "ensure the continued stability for Emani and ensure that she will be able to maintain her current and ongoing relationship" with her family.

In court last week (ends May 17), Foster claimed she hadn't seen her daughter in months.
