This arrives after it's reported that David is 'thrown out' of Child Protective Services supervised visit with their children after 'causing trouble' and 'arguing with everybody.'

AceShowbiz - Things don't seem to look good for Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason. The pair were seen heading to court on Thursday, May 16 after their children were taken away from her care by Child Protective Services following David's dog-killing controversy.

In some photos that surfaced online, the former "Teen Mom 2" stars were spotted holding hands after the hearing in Whiteville, North Carolina as they attempted to get their kids back. The "16 and Pregnant" alum donned dark slacks and a white top with brown boots, while her 31-year-old husband opted for a brown suit jacket over a pair of gray trousers.

According to Us Weekly, the couple's request to bring her kids immediately to their California home was denied. Meanwhile, Radar Online reported that the battle to get their children back might be rough. Legal experts, who have not worked with Jenelle, speculated that the couple "could go years before their children are back in their care unsupervised."

This arrived after it was reported that David was "thrown out" of supervised visit with their children on May 15. A source revealed that "Ensley and Maryssa were there, they're staying with Maryssa’s grandmother." Also present was Jenelle's son Jace, who is currently living with her mother Barbara. Kaiser, who was taken by Nathan Griffith's mother on May 10, was not able to attend the last-minute requested visit because he was too far away.

"David was thrown out because he was arguing with the social workers. He was causing trouble," the insider said, adding that he "was arguing with everybody." Meanwhile, Jenelle seemed to be trying to control her composure during the meeting as she was said to be "not crying and was not upset at the meeting."

Jenelle lost custody of her children on May 13 after a judge signed off on a request to remove them from her and David's marital home in California after the latter killed Nugget. Each child now has a court-appointed attorney.

The 27-year-old previously said in a statement that "during this difficult time, I'm focused on getting Kaiser back and cooperating with my legal team on the next steps to getting my children back." As for her relationship with David, Jenelle said they were "still in a healing process." She explained, "We are going to start going to marriage counseling because he feels as if we both need it. I completely agree. Not considering divorce unless he refuses counseling with me."
