Speaking of the movie that will see the 'Underworld' actress as a homicidal bouncer, Tanya Wexler suggests that it is 'for every woman who wants to turn their inner Thelma & Louise up to 11.'

AceShowbiz - "Underworld" star Kate Beckinsale is ready to kick butt again as a homicidal bouncer in new movie "Jolt".

The Brit will play tough girl Lindy, who wears a special vest to control her rage, in director Tanya Wexler's new action comedy.

Beckinsale's character attempts to find her boyfriend's murderer while on the run from police officials, who think she killed him.

Production is set to begin in July in the U.K. and Bulgaria, according to Deadline.

The film will make history by becoming movie studio Millennium's first film with a female lead and director.

Wexler says, "Jolt is a kick-a** and painfully funny script and when I saw that Kate Beckinsale was attached to play the lead, I jumped at the opportunity to make the movie. This is the movie for right now - a revenge-action film for every woman who wants to turn their inner 'Thelma & Louise' up to 11."
