The British actress, who has gained notoriety through her role on 'Killing Eve', admits more people recognize her after she stars on the critically-acclaimed crime drama series alongside Sandra Oh.

AceShowbiz - Jodie Comer once got asked by a fan to strangle her when she posed for a picture.
Although a regular fixture on British TV screens for some time, Jodie has become a global star thanks to smash hit series "Killing Eve", where she plays contract killer Villanelle, opposite Sandra Oh's smart MI5 officer Eve.
Since season one of the critically acclaimed show aired last year (2018), Liverpool-born actress Jodie has found herself recognised a lot more, but some fan encounters have become a bit weird.
"It's been a good year!" Jodie beamed to Graham Norton on his talk show, which airs in the U.K. on Friday, April 19. "A lot of people just look at me in a 'Is it her' sort of way, but recently I had a really strange one - a woman asked for a photograph with me and then she whispered in my ear, 'Will you strangle me?' I said, 'No!' "
Asked about the second series, which has already begun airing in America, she added, "There is a lot more pressure because of expectations and everyone is waiting on tenterhooks for it to come out, but once you start filming, you just have to put that to one side."
